Vynecrest Winery, at first blush, looks like anything but a vision for the future.

Framed by rows of mature grapevines, the winery has grown from a converted Swiss barn built on the sloped countryside in the rural reaches of Breinigsville.

Buildings for the winery have been added over the years, but the barn retains its rustic charm. Tables are fashioned from oak-barrel staves, the ceiling from American chestnut beams that still carry the ax grooves from lumberjacks who stripped its bark more than a century ago.
